Step 1 Text: Review the estimate of repairs with the Facility Manager or Painter. Locate any additional parts that are to be painted. Document any pre-existing paint defects on the QC sheet. Determine which areas are to be painted. Verify color code and determine correct color variance.

Step 2 Text: Blow off repair area. Remove all stripes and decals as per estimate. Locate new stripes and decals needed. Report any missing items. Wash area to be painted with two-step process using Auto clean and M600.

Step 3 Text: Check that bodywork was completed correctly. Verify all necessary parts have been removed. Verify repairs have met metal technician prep procedures.

Step 4 Text: Feather-edge repaired area with P220 grit dry followed by P320 grit dry. Sand with P320 area where primer will be applied. Blow off area.

Step 5 Text: Mask a minimum of 36” around area to be primed. Degrease entire panel surrounding body filler. Do not wet body filler. Mask all stationary glass pinch welds preserving original finish or bare metal.

Step 6 Text: Wipe bare metal areas with AutoPrep Wipes. Apply 1-3 medium wet coat(s) of Colorbuild Plus Primer-Surfacer with 5 minute flash between coats.
